Years ago, you used to be able to post on Instagram and have it automatically post to Twitter as well. Nowadays, it still works but the photo won’t post in the timeline. But WAIT! There’s a workaround! I asked a friend why he always hash tagged #twitter on his IG posts, and he told me about If This Then That (IFTTT).
Basically, you go on IFTTT and make a profile, then you add an equation. In my case, here’s the one I picked.

And it worked.
Posted to Instagram using my IFTTT formula and special tag
And the formula action worked! In my Twitter feed! No longer just an Instagram link.
